Kim Diener was born on January 17, 1957 and passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 66. She attended local schools and graduated from South High School. She was united in marriage with James Hintzelman who preceded her in death in 1984 and then married Donald Diener at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on March 18, 1989. During her working years she was employed by Advocate Aurora Health in Sheboygan. Kim enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling, her membership at the Elk’s Club and the Sheboygan Yacht Club, hosting dinner parties, entertaining and more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She had a great love and passion for animals, especially all of the dogs that she had throughout her life.
Kim is survived by her husband, Donald Diener; children, Kelly (Jamie) Hintzelman and Joel (Staci) Hintzelman; stepchildren, Jackie Diener, Gary (Eileen) Diener, Carrie Diener and Craig Diener; grandchildren, Abby, Brody, Layla, Sophia and Salma; step grandchildren, Thomas and Andrew Diener; niece, Anzur Erdmann (Chad Glodowski) and her prized Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Gloria Middleton; sister, Roxanne (Brandon) Brandenburg and parents-in-law, Fred and Jennie Diener.
A private family service will be held for immediate family members. Memorials to the Sheboygan County Humane Society in Kim’s name are appreciated.
Kim was a loving, caring, thoughtful and giving person. She will be dearly missed by her husband, family and the many friends whose lives she touched.
