Larry W. Horn, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6th, 2026 at Edenbrook Nursing Home (formerly Sunny Ridge) in Sheboygan. He had been a resident there for approximately 15 years.
Larry was born in Sheboygan on February 1st, 1947, the oldest child of the late Bernard and Marcella (Wuestenhagen) Horn. He was baptized at Holy Name Church on May 18, 1947. Larry attended Washington Elementary, Urban Middle School, and North High School (Class of 1965).
Larry worked for 17 years at Armour Leather (later Armira) until it closed at the end of 1983. He enjoyed chatting on the CB, listening to events on the police scanner, collecting coins and researching various topics online. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially teams from Wisconsin.
Survivors include his six nephews, Kyle (Amanda) Blindauer, of Sheboygan Falls, and their two daughters Chloe and Kadence Blindauer, Andrew (Allison) Blindauer, of Sheboygan, Jesse Blindauer, of Sheboygan, Adam (Annette) Blindauer of Oakfield, WI., Casey (Megan) Blindauer, of Sheboygan, and Shawn Blindauer, of Fitchburg, WI.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella Horn (2000), father Bernard Horn (2010), brother Dennis Horn (2008), sister Debra (Horn) Blindauer (2012), brother-in-law Joseph Blindauer (2022), and aunt Doris Moyes (2013).
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Edenbrook in Sheboygan as well as the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their care and compassion.
A short service will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, March 16th, 2026 at Calvary Cemetery prior to burial.
