Lillian Ruppel, 98 years old, born June 20, 1926, passed and went to her heavenly Father on September 12, 2024. Born having a strong spirit, the daughter of Mary and Walter Zawatzke Sr.
Lillian served the United States during WWII as an airplane factory inspector receiving recognition for her efforts and service. In 1945 Lillian married Emil Ruppel and was his wife for 43 years. They share two children Vicki Filipiak and the late Carol Depagter as well as three grandsons.
After receiving her education, she majored in accounting and secretarial, being employed by the city and state. She had duties at various business locations, including and lastly at Out East Hair Designers.
A private entombment will take place at a later date.

Vicki my sympathy to you in the passing of your mom. Seeing her name brought back lots of childhood memories. I can still picture your mom and dad sitting at the kitchen table.

Vicki, our hearts go out to you as you send your Mom to our father. She is happy and healthy again and will be watching over you as you watched over her. She was a wonderful lady with a loving soul.
