Linda (Gandre) Salerno

Linda Salerno, age 75, passed away on September 23, 2022. She was born in Sheboygan, WI to Norbert and Ruth Gandre. Linda attended local schools and graduated from South High School in 1965. She was united in marriage with Michael Salerno on April 26, 1969 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and on August 27, 1977 they remarried at St. Clement Catholic Church. Linda was the head baker at Piggly Wiggly for 23 years and retired in 2009. She enjoyed doing crafts, going to craft shows, playing BINGO, animals especially cardinals, squirrels and dogs and more than anything, she loved her family.
Linda is survived by her children, Debbie (Bill) Frier, Scott Salerno and Brenda Salerno; grandchildren, Amber (Bruce) Beckman, Jonah (Lexi) Frier, Autumn Frier, Michelle (Josh) Meyer and Josh (Aimee) Frier; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Diane (Dale) Neese, brother-in-law, Paul (Laurie) Salerno; nieces; nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael; mother and father; sister, Nancy; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Jim and in-laws, Paul and Angela Salerno.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank Dr. Schleevogt and team and St. Nicholas Hospital emergency department for their care of Linda.
