Linda S. Gissing-Olson, age 69, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born in Milwaukee on May 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Glenn and Irene Jarecki Gissing.
She attended local schools in Milwaukee, WI and graduated from Bay View High School. Linda then furthered her education and earned a degree in finance. She was the Vice President for Merrill Lynch Offices in Milwaukee, WI and Denver, CO. On June 22, 1985 she was united in marriage to Ronald Olson in Milwaukee, WI.
Linda loved to crochet, play bingo on Monday nights, bowling at Odyssey Lanes, arts and crafts and was a wizard on her computer.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Olson, of Sheboygan; a sister, Pat (Larry) Schneider, of West Bend; a brother, Glenn (Marianne) Gissing, of Hartford; nephews, Randy Schneider, of Jackson and Brad Schneider, of West Allis and her mother, Irene Gissing of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Gissing.
A private memorial service for Linda was held at St. John United Church of Christ in Sheboygan.
