Lorraine Bolgert

Lorraine Bolgert, age 91 of Sheboygan passed away early Wednesday morning August 25, 2021. Lorraine was born July 30, 1930, in Byron, WI to the late George and Leota (Westphal) Klauck. She was a 1948 graduate of Central High School. Lorraine was united in marriage to Arthur Bolgert on March 12, 1960, at Ebeneezer Lutheran Church in Sheboygan; he preceded her in death October 21, 2002. After Lorraine and Arthur raised their children, she was employed by the Sheboygan Area School District. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking for family. Lorraine looked forward to doing Wisconsin Lottery scratch offs with her sister Dorothy.

Lorraine is survived by her loving children Thomas (Sherrie) Bolgert of Roscoe, IL, William Bolgert of Sheboygan, Anne Bolgert of Austin, TX, James Bolgert of Sheboygan, two granddaughters Taylor and Alexis Bolgert of Roscoe, IL.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters Ramona (James) Fenzel and Dorothy Zamsky.

Family and friends may gather at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1614 S. 23rd Street in Sheboygan on Saturday August 28, 2021, from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Christian Gugel officiating. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery.
