Marcella “Sally” Winter

Marcella Winter was born on May 21, 1929, and passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 93. She was united in marriage with Murlin Winter at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church on May 22, 1948. During her working years she was employed by Nobil Shoes for 32 years until her retirement. Sally enjoyed volunteering at St. Nicholas Hospital and at the Sheboygan Clinic, singing in the New Life Choir, volunteering her time cleaning and ironing the church’s paraments and vestments, and more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sally is survived by her children, Diane Morton and John (Vicki) Winter; son-in-law, Manning Kilton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ross) Hoggatt, Melissa (Nathan) Dehne, Emilee (Dan) Mooney, Chad Kilton, Nicholas (Julie) Kilton, Katelyn (John) Swanson, Brianne (Wade) Boan and Jennetta Rosinsky; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 siblings. She is preceded in death by her husband, Murlin; daughter, Helen Kilton; son-in-law, Mark Morton, and Sally’s 7 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association in Sally’s name are appreciated.
