Margaret M. (Schulz) Hemb, age 88, passed away peacefully June 22, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls, WI. Margaret was born in Sheboygan, WI on March 24, 1936, to the late Erich & Clara (Mueller) Schulz. She graduated from Holy Name School
and a 1954 graduate of North High School, in Sheboygan. After high school she worked for R.A. Manning Lighting Co. in Sheboygan, as a secretary.
On April 27, 1957, Margaret was united in marriage to Marvin A. Hemb at St. Mary’s Chapel, Fort Riley, KS and became an army wife and lived in Manhattan, KS, for 2 years. Then returned back to Sheboygan, WI. Over the years Margaret worked at Heritage Insurance (now Acuity Insurance) in Sheboygan. Retiring in the mid-90s.
Margaret was dedicated and devoted in the Catholic faith at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, in Sheboygan. She was involved with the St. Anne’s Society, Mission Ladies Quilters, Church Choir, Bell Choir, and the Guitar Choir. Margaret was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Always thought of others before herself. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, three daughters, Joan Schultz, Debbie (Bob) O’Keefe, and Kathy Hemb, all of Sheboygan; four sons, Keith and Brian, both of Sheboygan, David (Carol) Cleveland, WI, and Kevin (Michele), Sheboygan. Nine grandchildren, Stacy (Jim) Meyer, Jessica Schultz (fiancé Kerry McLaughlin), Ashley (Frankie) Avila, Adam (Kayla) Hemb, Benjamin Hemb, Sarah (Nick) Schmitz, Kayla (Dakota) Hunter, Megan Walsh and Aric Hemb. Two step-grandchildren, Ryan (Rhiannon) Hansen, and Nicole (Brad) Schmitz. Thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-grandson due in October, and four step great-grandchildren. One brother-in-law, Gerald Benzschawel, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, in 1998, her parents, brother and sister-in-law Ray (Ginny) Schulz, brother Ralph Schulz, sister Betty Benzschawel and sister and brother-in-law
Irene (Jim) Sprenger. Sister-in-law Marcella Arnst, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Annette (Elmer) Uhlig, Margaret (George Jr.) Hemb, along with other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday June 28, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave., in Sheboygan with Fr. Nick Baumgardner officiating. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. at the CHURCH. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Town of Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Margaret’s name.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, and the caring staff at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls, for the wonderful care that was given to our mother.
The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, Sheboygan, has been entrusted with
Margaret’s arrangements.

I have many fond memories of working with Margret for 20 plus years at Heritage Insurance. You may remember her talking about her old. boss. I will always remember her as a kind, caring person.
