Marguerite VanErmen went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 18, 2019. She was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on October 8, 1926 to Martin and Elizabeth (Myer) Schinderle. Marguerite attended school in Iron Mountain and graduated with the class of 1944. She worked for Michigan Bell and Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company for 30 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a life member of the Communications Workers of America. Marguerite was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and was united in marriage to Allen R. Petermann August 28, 1944, and Roy Van Ermen in 1960, both who have preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Elizabeth (Myer) Schinderle; three brothers, Robert, Arthur and Louis Schinderle and two sisters, Delores Bienemann and Marcella Schinderle.
Marguerite is survived by three sons and three daughters, Arlyn (Aubrey) Heape, Michael Petermann, Randy (Marge) Petermann, Arthur (Dawn) Petermann, Roianne Van Ermen, Lorrie Lea (Ray) Woolwine, all of Sheboygan. Marguerite was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A service was held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and entombment has taken place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
