Marilyn Kerber, age 88 of Sheboygan died of natural causes Monday January 3, 2022 at a local hospital. Marilyn was born April 13, 1933 in Sheboygan to the late Albert and Marie (Bersch) Landgraf. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Kerber May 10, 1952 with the Rev. R.M. Holler presiding at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Kenneth preceded Marilyn in death on January 6, 2010. She was a devoted mother, to her four children, and daughter, to her parents. In her earlier years Marilyn was employed by Spiller Spring a little over a decade. She was an avid reader throughout her life until her last day. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed her retired days with her husband tending to their garden and taking walks. She loved being a grandma and great-grandma and watching all of them grow from near and far. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Survivors include her children: David (Karen) Kerber of Shawano, Susan (Nicholas) Sievert of Racine, Rosemary (Thomas) Mallmann of Sheboygan, grandchildren: Kristin (Tony) Werdick of MN, Travis (Melissa) Kerber of IN, Kenneth R. Kerber of Sheboygan, Adam Kerber of MI, Thomas (Wendi) Mallmann of Milwaukee, Annie Mallmann (Tom Richman) of Oak Creek, Michael (Carissa) Mallmann of Madison, Nicole (Chris) Schwuchow of WA, and Matt (Victoria) Sievert of Racine, step-grandchildren: Tony (Deyani) Powers of Shawano, Jeremiah (Dana) Powers of AZ, and Jenny Powers of Shawano, great-grandchildren: Lucy and Clare Werdick, Grayson Kerber and Madison Vasile, Hailee Kerber, Madeline Radtke, Madison and Keegan Kerber, Tessa and Maxwell Mallmann, Elliana and Myles Richman, Maverick Mallmann, Taylor Schwuchow, and Wesley, Windsor and Gwenevere Sievert, step-great-grandchildren: Teagan, Mikelah, Taylor, Madilyn Powers, Mya, Amelia, and Morgan Powers, and Dani Kay and Jameson Johnson, brother: James Landgraf of Sheboygan, and sister in-law: Frances Landgraf of Sheboygan, and Iris Patron of CO. Marilyn is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Kenneth J. Kerber, and a step-granddaughter Rebecca Powers, brothers: Kenneth and Carl Landgraf, sister and brother-in-law Kathleen (John) Mc Collins, and a sister-in-law Mary Landgraf.
Family and friends may gather at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave. Sheboygan on Friday January 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Paul Fliss will officiate. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
