Marjorie Mae Tenpas, 90, of Sheboygan, formerly of Cedar Grove, passed away at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice to be with her Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023. Marjorie was born to the late William and Mamie (Lammers) Berenschot on January 31, 1933 in Sheboygan County. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1951 and was united in marriage to Lloyd Tenpas on March 14, 1952. Together they raised their two children, Steven and Sue. Marjorie was a great cook and spent her time taking care of her family and her home. She especially loved her grandchildren. Marjorie was a member of Grace OPC in Sheboygan.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Sue (Bill) Lorenz; grandchildren, Courtney (Ryan) Thorson and Erik and Kelsey Lorenz; great-granddaughter, Emery, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd, in 2016; son, Steve and her two brothers, Leland (Una) and Orlon (Marie).

A private family service will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Marjorie’s family would like to express their gratitude to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice as well as Dr. Krystoviak for all their care and support.

I knew Aunt Margie for my whole life. We spent many times at her home while I was growing up. She was always a generous aunt who was interested in all we were doing. Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Margie we're the best cooks I knew as a child. In her later year we had conversations by phone where she continued to be concerned about my family her grandnieces and nephews. She had a love for her Lord and looked forward to being with Him in heaven.
