Marjorie “Marge” Hahn passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at Harvest Home Assisted Living, at the age of 89. She was born on July 13, 1936, to Raymond P. and Catherine (Meyer) Haen.
She graduated from Central High School in 1954. At an early age, she developed a love for music and dance. She taught baton twirling and tap dance from her parents’ home. She traveled to many competitions, winning many awards. She even twirled flaming batons at many of those competitions.
She became a majorette for the Central High School Band and later became the majorette for the VFW Drum and Bugle Corp. It was during this time she met the love of her life, Richard Hahn, where he was also a member of the corp. They were married on February 11, 1956. Marge started her office career working for H.C. Prange and then later working for Lakeshore Display. At Lakeshore Display, she handled many different roles in the office and, after 25+ years, retired from the job she loved. She was also a very active Jaycette. She and Richard were very involved in Bratwurst Days, German Days, and the Miss Sheboygan Pageant, among many other events. For 40 years, she enjoyed a neighborhood card club and had such close friends with all of the neighbors. Later in life, camping became the focus. They traveled most of the United States in various campers. They started out in a converted school bus and later graduated to a 35-ft. Class A motorhome. After the camping days were over, they spent many winter months in Arizona.
Her most important role, however, was being a mom. She never missed an opportunity, no matter what it was, to make her daughter’s life the best it could be.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbi (Rudy) Mahler; grandson, Timothy (Kristen) Mahler; granddaughter, Heather (Michael) Davis Jr.; grandchildren Michael Davis and Ali (Sam) Scholten; great-grandchildren Tevin Davis and Ava Mahler; nephews Kevin (Andrea) Haen and Jeffrey (Susan) Haen; and niece Jennifer (James) Leighty. Preceded in death are her husband, Richard; her parents and in-laws; brother, Raymond W. Haen; sister-in-law, Rosemary Haen; brother-in-law, James; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Mahler.
A funeral service for Marge will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan with Pastor Patrick Niles officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Town of Wilson.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Harvest Home for the wonderful care Marge received. A memorial fund will be established Marge’s name. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your own charity.
