Mark A. Miller, 68, passed away on July 2, 2025.

Born January 3, 1957 to Isabel Grimm Miller and Victor Miller, he grew up the youngest of five children in St. Nazianz, WI. His family provided meaningful relationships which shaped who he was and how he engaged with the world. He learned the core tenets of gentleness, honesty, hard work, and exceptional human decency.

Mark measured personal success as a blend of multiple facets: being a loving husband, a successful agent of commerce, an untiring mentor, and a terrific father.

He became accustomed to demanding expectations and big stages playing basketball for JFK Prep and the University of Chicago. Mark attended Marquette Law where he met and married his wife Joan Ravanelli.

Mark’s career was a balance of commercial successes and community leadership. He began his career with his father and brother at Miller and Miller in St. Nazianz. He went on to lead Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. as CEO, serve as President of Miller Implement, Inc., and finished his career as EVP and CRO of Investors Community Bank. A champion of others, he served on the boards of Holy Family Memorial Hospital, Dominican High School, InCourage, and Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. He was also a supporter of the arts and Chaired a United Performing Arts Fund Campaign. However, his most successful feat was always being present for nightly family dinners and his children’s sporting events.

He was most proud of his three children Frances, Natalie, and Victor. He taught them the meaning of unconditional love, generosity, hard work, and perfect blueberries.

Mark is survived by his wife, three children, three grandchildren, brother, two sisters, and many friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and a sister.

His was a life well lived and well loved. He embodied resilience and never skipped to the end.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the Medical College of Wisconsin or the Sheboygan Food Bank’s Food for Thought for Kids program.
