Martha Jimenez-Vega, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2021. Martha was born in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Mateo and Sara (Zavala) Vega. On January 6, 1968 Martha was united in marriage to Cipriano Jimenez in Mexico City and together they moved to Sheboygan where they raised their family. Martha took great joy in helping children as a teacher’s aide and school bus assistant at the Early Learning Center. She had great love for her family, especially her grandsons. She enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, “taking in the sun” at the ocean and playing spider solitaire. Martha belonged to St. Clement Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Martha is survived by her husband, Cipriano; daughters, Martha Jimenez (fiancé David Stefl), Sara Jimenez Schaefer (Dane); grandsons, Diego and George Schaefer; brothers, Roberto (Lourdes) Vega and Ruben (Terri) Vega as well as other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Martha Vega de Jimenez, habitante de Sheboygan, WI de 73 años de edad, falleció de manera inesperada el 18 de marzo del año en curso. Martha fue oriunda de la Ciudad de México, hija de Don Mateo y Doña Sara (Zavala) Vega. El 6 de enero del año 1968, Martha se unió en nupcias con Cipriano Jimenez en la Ciudad de México. Juntos, se trasladaron como pareja a Sheboygan, donde formaron una familia. La vida laboral de Martha consistió en ayudar a estudiantes y a la comunidad educativa dentro y fuera del aula como asistente de maestra y en el transporte escolar en el Early Learning Center, lo cual le daba mucha alegría. Asimismo, ella tenia un gran amor hacia su familia, especialmente con sus nietos. Martha disfrutaba de llevar a cabo actividades en familia tales como salir a comer fuera, viajar al mar para disfrutar del sol, y jugar solitario. Martha pertenecía a la comunidad eclesiástica de San Clemente en Sheboygan.
A Martha la sobreviven su esposo Cipriano, sus hijas Martha Jimenez (prometido David Stefl), Sara Jimenez Schaefer (marido Dane), sus nietos Diego y George Schaefer, sus hermanos Roberto (esposa Lourdes) Vega y Rubén (esposa Terri) Vega, así como otros sobrinos, sobrinas y familiares. Asimismo, sus padres le precedieron en muerte años atrás.
