Marvin K. Klemme, age 89, of Plymouth passed away on January 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at The Waterford at Plymouth. He was born on March 20, 1933 in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, a son of the late Henry and Leora (Nohl) Klemme. Marvin attended a one room school house in Johnsonville and graduated from Plymouth High School. On May 14, 1955 he married Darlene K. Trossen. Marvin was employed at Kohler Co. for 40 years until he retired in 1995. He and his wife moved Up North where he enjoyed fishing (ice fishing, trout fishing and lake fishing), Lawn King, snowmobiling, driving the coot and deer hunting. They moved back to Sheboygan in 2019.
He is survived by his wife Darlene; five sons, Kenneth (Lora) Klemme of Sheboygan, Andrew (Theresa) Klemme of Wisconsin Rapids, Joel (Ann) Klemme of Sheboygan, John (Sue) Klemme of Sheboygan and Daniel Klemme of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Sharon) Klemme as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Harvey Hanke; sister, Shirley (Klemme) Musil; brother-in-law, Lee Musil.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Adam Barkley from Luther Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to his Aurora at Home Hospice team, especially his kind and loving nurse Amber, John MSW, Dr. Murthy, Tamika and many others including The Waterford at Plymouth.
