Mama was a devoted wife and mother, who supported and encouraged us through all our successes and disappointments. We couldn’t have done it without her in our corner.
She was an avid puzzler, both anacrostics and jigsaw. We spent many precious hours laughing and joking while solving together. Who knew there was humor in jigsaw puzzles? She looked forward to lunch with her friends and neighbors, where Mama brought levity to the group. She was quick to laugh at a joke, once it was explained to her, and was able to laugh at herself. Let’s face it, she was funny!
One of her greatest joys was her loyal canine companion “Fergus,” with whom she spent the past five years. They could often be seen walking up and down the block at Mapledale, Mama waving her cane at passing neighbors. They especially enjoyed snuggling at nap time, sharing Pop-Tarts, and watching Soaps. Such a unique love and purpose he brought to Mama’s life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave. Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating.
