MaryAnn Ahrens, 86, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. MaryAnn was born at the Plymouth Bakery, which her grandparents owned, on August 6, 1932. MaryAnn was united in marriage on December 16, 1950 to Donald Ahrens, Sr. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She was a wonderful homemaker and business woman. She was a clerk at Bensman’s 20th St., former owner of Palo Popcorn and co-owner of B’loonie Gifts until her retirement in 1992. She loved to cook, read, sew clothes for her children, crochet, play cards and win, fish in Sturgeon Bay and to travel. She accomplished her life long dream of traveling to Egypt. MaryAnn was very outgoing and an enthusiast for life. Many will remember her awesome smile and infectious laughter. She was an immediate friend to any stranger who may have crossed her path.

MaryAnn is survived by her children, Barbara Martin of Oostburg, WI, Donna (Mike) Prezioso of Mission Viejo, CA, Maribeth (Joe) Trester of Sheboygan, WI and Donald Jr. of Sheboygan, WI; grandchildren Bill Fahl and Jennie (August) Ristow, a great-grandson Cody Fahl and her sister-in-law, Sandra (John) Melger.

She was preceded in death by her sibings, Robert (Carol) Viel, June (Gerald) Minch, Virginia (Ed) Kasey; half brother Jim (Betty) Stuefen and two step-siblings Richard (Kathy) Stuefen and Diane (Willy) Lang.

In respect of MaryAnn’s wishes, there will be no memorial service held.
