I have the fondest memories of Matt starting in grade school. He gave me my first kiss grade school at Evergreen Park when he demonstrated to Guy Kingsley how "Mannix" kissed. It still makes me laugh, and it was so innocent. Although we did not stay in touch, I am saddened by this loss. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

So very sorry to hear about Matt. We had some extremely fun times with a group of people at a cabin near pine hills. Matt had a great wit. He was pretty funny at St Clements too. My condolences.

I am sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I know he didn't like being called Matthias, because when he had climbed the tree in our--the Hanson family -- front yard, I said Matthias, and he got angry. But I was part of the haunted house the neighborhood did, and he coached me to scream real loud. I did. His mother, Dorothy, heard me, and she thought someone was being murdered. So sad to hear a neighbor from the past has passed.
