It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Nicholas “Nick” Landgraf, who was lifted into God’s loving hands, on June 4, 2025. Though his time with us was far too short, his presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Nick was born July 19, 1980, in Sheboygan to Peter and Sandy (Eirich) Landgraf.
Nick has always been full of energy and curiosity—an early riser who made the most of each day. As a kid, he was fun-loving and fearless, racing his Big Wheel down steep hills, skimming across the water on his ski’s. Always ready for a laugh, he loved to tease, play pranks, and try new things, even if it meant a little trouble. He was happiest helping his dad with projects and made friends wherever he went with his easygoing charm and adventurous spirit.
Nick attended Christ Child Academy through 8th grade and graduated from South High School in 1999. He furthered his education at Fox Valley Technical College, where he completed his apprenticeship. He was employed as a sheet metal worker at Rohde Brothers in Plymouth and later became the General Manager of the subsidiary company, Greater Wisconsin Sheet Metal. Most recently he combined his engaging personality, strong leadership, and his deep industry knowledge as manager for the commercial truck division at Van Horn in Plymouth.
Nick had a kind heart and quiet strength. He deeply loved his wife, Sarah, who was his high school sweetheart. The bond they shared was strong and full of laughter, friendship and unwavering support. His greatest joy was being a father to their beloved daughter, Charlotte. He was her biggest cheerleader, her protector, and her example of strength and kindness.
Nick found deep satisfaction in simple pleasures-fishing up north, golfing, creating and enjoying his homemade pizzas, his love for a spirited debate and the endless quest for the smoothest glass of bourbon with his dad. These moments were never solitary; he cherished sharing them with those he loved most.
Nick is survived by his wife Sarah, daughter Charlotte, father and mother Peter and Sandy Landgraf, sisters Kristy (Matt) Polzin of Sheboygan, Katie (Cal) Hughes of Oostburg, brother Joseph (Lisa) Landgraf of Menomonee Falls, father and mother-in-law Craig and Linda Wagner of Sheboygan, sister-in-law Kelly (Jon) Irish of Sheboygan and paternal grandparents Ronald and Lois Landgraf of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by his niece, eight nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clarence and Patricia Eirich and paternal grandmother Janice Landgraf.
Family and friends may gather at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Wednesday June 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Nick Baumgardner will officiate.
