Patricia Friedrichs Andrew, age 85, formerly of Sheboygan, died on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake. She was born in Sheboygan on January 25, 1934, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Feldbusch Martin, and step-daughter of the late Frederick C. Feldbusch.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1952. On January 26, 1957, Patricia was united in marriage to Edgar V. Friedrichs in Sheboygan. Edgar preceded her in death in 1979. Patricia married Maynard Andrew on November 27, 1999.
Patricia was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan. She was the office manager at the church for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was very active at St. Luke and also at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sheboygan. She served as the Sunday School superintendent, sang in the church choir, was president of the United Methodist Women and Rachel Circle. Patricia also volunteered at the Sheboygan Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards, sewing, eating out with friends, and car rides.
Survivors include her second husband, Maynard (Andy) Andrew of Lehighton PA. Also her children, Janet (Roy) Logan of Williamsburg VA, James (Mirta) Friedrichs of Lansdale PA, Jeffrey (Cara) Friedrichs of Arvada CO, and a step-daughter, Carol Herfkens of Omaha NE. Also her grandchildren, Todd, Lauren, Julie, Edgar, Timothy, Rebecca, and her sister Marcia (George) Clements of Batavia WI. In addition to her first husband, Edgar, Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sue Fox.
A memorial service for Patricia will be held on July 21, 2019 at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 623 Ontario Ave in Sheboygan with the Reverend Cindy Thompson officiating. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with a reception in the church to follow.
