Paul Yurk was born in Sheboygan on February 11, 1943 and passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 80. He graduated from Ripon High School and attended University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. On March 7, 1964, he was united in marriage with Patricia Sterlinski in Sheboygan. Paul spent the majority of his working career as a mechanical engineer in California and Wisconsin. He enjoyed coaching youth sports in his younger years, golfing, fishing, and supporting the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Paul’s life revolved around his family, and he was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife, Pat; children, Lisa (Bob) Douglas, Kevin Yurk and Shannon Yurk; grandchildren, Kayla (Nate) Sumner, Alexa (Dan) Nenni, Haley (Brad) Shedd and Samantha (Kevin Kellner) Schaller; great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Jackson, Brooke, Harper, Addison Mae and Addison Jay; siblings, Barbara Holzer, Mary (Marvin) Foster, Dick (Jean) Yurk and Chuck (Wendy) Yurk and sisters-in-law, Deb Yurk and Margarite Yurk. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Christ and Ruth Yurk; siblings, Judy Valente, Fred Yurk, James Yurk, John Yurk, Christian Yurk and Kaye King. He is further preceded in death by nieces, nephews, cousins and special cousin, Sandi Koller.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery following Mass.
