Peter M. Strysick, age 67, of West Bend passed away peacefully Monday, June 24, 2024 at The Kathy Hospice. Peter was born November 11,1956, in Sheboygan to the late Michael and Carol (Greiner) Strysick.

Peter was a resident of Sheboygan for many years. While residing in Sheboygan he was the chairman of the variance appeal committee, board member of the architectural review and chairman of licensing for contractors. Peter was employed as a truck driver for Schultz Sav-O and most recently with Service One Transport. He was also a self-employed general contractor and enjoyed being a DJ at East 40, The Wagon Wheel and The Windjammer in his younger years.

Pete loved being on the road in his semi with his faithful companion Gracie in the passenger seat. When not on the road, he enjoyed meticulously maintaining his vehicles, riding his Harley and driving his Camero with the top down. He was an avid Packer fan. Most of all, Pete experienced great joy in spoiling Linda’s grand babies who captured his heart and of whom he was so proud of.

He is survived by his significant other Linda Grimm, a sister and brother-in-law Mary (Michael) O’Donnell of Madison and many cousins.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents.

Private graveside services have been held.

Mary & Michael, I want to offer my deepest sympathy to the both of you. I just got back from Canada and I saw this obituary.. We had some great times with Peter when we all went to the Packer games in Michigan and stayed in Canada. May God give you both added strength during this difficult time in your lives. May Pete rest in peace.!
