Anyone who met Phil loved him immediately. He had the biggest heart and cared deeply for his friends and family, including his best and dearest friend, Jerica.
Phil, affectionately known as Philliam, enjoyed shooting darts and pool, disc golfing, live concerts, and watching basketball (especially the Jazz), and loved ARod and the Packers (and sparring with Dad over them). Pick-up ball with his dad, brothers, and the guys, and live video gaming (especially with his brothers, Kevin and Luke), were high priority.
Phil is survived by: parents, Kurt and Donna Hering (Ogden, UT); brothers, Kevin and Luke (wife Catherine) Hering (Layton, UT); paternal grandmother, Joan Hering (Sheboygan, WI); nieces and nephew, Alexa and Kaden (Clinton,UT), Audrey (Layton, UT). He is preceded in death by: paternal grandfather, Roger Hering; maternal grandparents, Willis and Harriett Rusch.
Visitation will be held at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, April 5 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan, 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Lutheran Cemetery to follow. Potluck luncheon at Four of a Kind after that, please bring a dish to pass as you are able. A memorial fund has been established in Phil’s name.
