Phyllis Walter was born on July 2, 1937 and passed away at Pine Haven on April 15, 2025 at the age of 87. She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. Phyllis was united in marriage with Donald Walter on September 15, 1956 in Lawton Oklahoma. During her working years she was employed by Pranges in the cosmetic department. Phyllis enjoyed embroidery, going to the casino, camping and traveling.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Richard Walter, Douglas (Laurie) Walter and Donna (Tim) Gorter; eight grandchildren, Christine (Nick) Knobel, Matthew Walter, Kathrin (Peter Kim) Walter, Natalie Walter, Becky (Daniel) Cruz, Andrew (Leesa) Walter, Josh Gorter, and Angie (Zach) Minnich; seven great-grandchildren and siblings, Jim (Sue) Stange and John Stange.
In accordance with Phyllis’s wishes a private family memorial service will be held. Memorials in Phyllis’s name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or Pine Haven Christian Communities are appreciated.
