Ralph Champeau, age 60 of Sheboygan died Wednesday afternoon January 5, 2022. Ralph was born October 31, 1961 in Sheboygan to Ralph Sr. and Judy (Mihelnik) Champeau. He was united in marriage to Susan Anthonijs on August 24, 1984 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Ralph was employed as a cable contractor, truckdriver and most recently at Bemis. He loved the time spent with his grandson Nolyn listening to music. Ralph was athletic in his earlier years and was passionate about hunting, fishing, bowling and baseball. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Brewers, Bucks and Packers. Ralph and his son Joe fished Lake Michigan for years and won many fishing tournaments together. He played baseball and won the city championship. Ralph bowled around the county winning numerous honor scores and city championships. He was also selected to be on the Sheboygan County All Star Team.
Survivors include Ralph’s son Joe Champeau (special friend Tiffaney) of Sheboygan, grandson Nolyn Allen, mother Judy (Jerry) Fischer, ex-wife and special friend Susan Champeau (Anthonijs), cousins Cory Shircel, Jessica Ellinger and Donny Pfeiffer, lifelong best friend Jimmy “Roots”. Ralph is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father, cousin Al Pfeiffer and best friends Jay Dern and Kurt Teskey.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m.
