You have always been kind to me and offered hospitality at the campground, shared what you had, and the great stories and you kind and happy personality. I will miss you my friend, but I will never forget the memories you gave me. Thank you for your friendship, I have been blessed to have met you and shared a few moments with you. I want to extend my condolences to the Halbach family over the passing of Randy. Randy and I were friends back in grade school at St. Peter Claver. We spent time together doing what kids did, hanging out playing basketball, fishing in the summer months and pickup games of football with the neighbor kids. Not to mention chasing girls, which was mostly us chasing and the girls running away. We went on a weekend retreat together through the school to St. Lawrence Seminary. It was a lot of fun meeting all the other kids, and Randy being the great guitar player, got us in the talent show where we sang and he played. Randy was a good guy and I was happy to have a friend like him. God Bless Randy.

My sympathies to the Halbach family. I knew Randy in school at St. Pete's. Always loved hearing him play and sing (especially "knock 3 times on ceiling "! Our families got together occasionally. Anyway, lots more memories that I have so I'll just say "Good times may come and go but thank God memories do last forever ".

Tommy, Tim and all the Halbach clan, Sorry to see the loss of your brother. I didn't know him, but if he was a Halbach, then he had to be a good man. When i saw the picture in the Press I was hoping it wasn't your brother, but he looked like you guys and unfortunately it was. My deepest sympathies to all.. Take care of each other and as always keep the faith.. Spears

We learned of Randy's passing, to say Karen and I are so sorry for the Halbach family and Gail, Tanya! I considered A good friend and his dad Al whom I have known for over thirty years. The energy and outlook Randy always had towards others was overwhelming. We had good times and I will cherish the memories and think of Randy and his infectious attitude often! Our sincere blessing to Gail and Tanya in these tough times...Gail was always a kind and caring person as gracious host whenever we would get together. The Halbach family are quality individuals for the rest of us as reminder there are no guarantees in life...be good to everyone and cherish everyday we are blessed!.
