We regret that extending sympathy to you is long overdue; we just saw the obituary online. Arlene, we have wonderful memories of our years together playing significant roles in so many kids’ lives. Later in retirement years we often had opportunity to chat, reminiscing about school days and Dick took center stage with his wit and sense of humor. Know that you, Jeff, Diane and families continue to be in our prayers.

Thank you Mr. DuMonthier for your love of science and ability to translate that into teaching along with your positive influence and patience has never been forgotten. Although that happened at South Side Jr. High in the early 1960's, I am sure it influenced me to beome a registered nurse. God Bless.

My best to Arlene, she was the perfect companion for Dick. For many years Dick was my locker mate at the Sports Core and he and Arlene were a part of the after workout coffee club at Woodlake Market. I always looked forward to seeing him, his positive attitude was observed by everyone.

My condolences to the family. I was one of his students long time ago at either HM around ‘71 or North ‘75. I just remember his love of outdoors and kindness that he showed me, a shy student at the time.
