Robert “Bob” W. Meulbroek

Apr 27, 1953 - Mar 06, 2022

Bob passed away peacefully March 6th, 2022, at home with his family at his side after a six-month battle with Melanoma. Bob was born April 27th, 1953, to the late Willard and Darline Meulbroek of Sheboygan.
Bob graduated from Sheboygan South High School in June of 1971. He then began his 45+ year career at Kohler Company where his co-workers were like family, and he created lasting friendships. On May 20th, 1978, he married his wife Linda (Wolff) Meulbroek at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Bob was a proud family man. He enjoyed coaching baseball and softball locally for his kids’ teams. He enjoyed attending his children’s concerts, games, and school activities. He loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing with them in the backyard, pushing them on the swings or picking vegetables and apples from the tree. Bob also loved his daily walks with their dog Marlee. He also enjoyed watching and talking about the Brewers and Packers.
Bob loved people. He made a lot of friends while he worked at Fisher’s Food and Liquor. Bob was always willing to do things for others and has helped family and friends throughout life.
Bob is survived by his wife Linda; children Brett (Manda) Meulbroek of Sheboygan, Brenda (Shannon)Alfson of Sheboygan, Brandon (Shannon) Meulbroek of Two Rivers, Britnee (Sara) Meulbroek of Sheboygan and Ryan Meulbroek of Northglenn Colorado. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alyssa, Abigail, Molly and Liam Meulbroek and Natalee Alfson and his brothers Gary (Mary) and Roger (Crystal) Meulbroek and sister-in-law Sue Lauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant granddaughter Trisha Fay and many friends.
The family would like to thank all of the caring staff of Sharon Richardson Hospice especially Corrin and Emily. They would also like to thank Pastor James Schulz of Our Saviors for his spiritual support during this time.
“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21: 3-4 Bob’s caring and compassion will be missed by many.
A memorial service for Bob will take placed on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Reinbold Novak Funeral home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.
