Robert J. “Bob” Vogt, age 86 formerly of Sheboygan died Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Aurora, Illinois. Bob was born March 27, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to the late John and Marion (Gruenke) Vogt. On October 12, 1957 Bob was united in marriage to Marlene Heyn; she preceded him in death in 2017. Bob and Marlene traveled the world extensively, making trips to all 7 continents.
Survivors include two sons Jim Vogt of Tampa, FL, and Mike (Dawn) Vogt of Sugar Grove, IL, grandchildren Matthew and Allison, sister Rosemary (Vogt) Vandenhouten, and brother Mark Lehmann.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marlene, and his brothers Ray Vogt, and Carl Lehmann.
Family and friends may gather at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Fr. Subi Thomas will officiate. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors being accorded by VFW Post #9156.
