Robyn was born at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI to Larry and Spring (Browne) VanDerWeele on March 31, 1975. She fought her battle with sepsis and received her wings and halo on August 9, 2023, with her parents and godmother at her side.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High in 1994 and attended Morain Park Technical for a brief time. She married Todd Leschke on November 27, 1999. Together they raised two wonderful sons, Zachary, and Michael. Robyn loved her husband and sons very much.
Robyn was a caring and loving as well as stubborn and a fighter. She endured many health problems since an adolescent. Both physical and mental and fought her way through them.
Besides her husband and sons, she is survived by her parents, stepmother Geri Van Der Weele, stepfather Domingo “Blackie” Ybanez. She is also survived by her brothers, Neal (Jennifer) and Matthew Van Der Weele, stepsiblings, Brian (Paula) Guelig, Wendy (Howard) Rubin, Michelle Guelig, Lisa Guelig, and Linda (Matthew) Davis. One nephew Brandon Van Der Weele and six nieces, Jordyn, Haven Van Der Weele, Gabey Voskuil, Malina and Raya Rubin and Ruthie Davis. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a special aunt.
Robyn’s final wish was that her family, especially Todd, Zachary, and Michael, also friends, knew she loved them all very much. Also, she did not fear death itself. It was not the end, but a new beginning.
No services will be held, but a Celebration of Robyn’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 1pm to 4pm at the 1907 Club, 2908 N. 21st St., Sheboygan.
