Rosalie Emmer was born on February 25, 1941 and passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 79. She attended schools in the Lomira area and graduated from Lomira High School with the class of 1959. Rosalie was united in marriage with Robert Emmer on July 11, 1959 at St. Mary’s Church in Lomira, WI. During her working years she taught ceramics classes from 1973-1983 at Emmer’s Ceramics and then moved to Mellen, WI where she continued to teach classes and sold ceramics in Ashland, WI until 1995. In addition to ceramics, she enjoyed golfing, basket weaving, watching the birds and going through Lakeside Park.
Rosalie is survived by her children, Jone (Rick) Fay, Betty (Dean) Oslage, John Emmer (special friend Patti) and Peg (Tony) Soll; grandchildren, Jonathan, Robert, Alexandria and Bailey Emmer, Jake and Ben Soll, Stephanie Ama and many step grandchildren; great-granddaughter Madeyne Emmer; grand fur babies, Duke and Ricky and siblings, Leo (Ruth) Zamzow and Janet (John) Birschbach. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Emmer; son Paul Emmer; grandson, Michael Emmer; siblings, Lou Anna (George) Isken and Brian (Anona) Zamzow and parents, Leo and Lucille Zamzow.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Rosalie’s name.
The family would like to that the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their kindness and The Gathering Place in Sheboygan, especially her special friends, Kathy and Leah.
