Roy A. Menzer

Roy Allen Menzer passed away on February 22, 2026, after a brief illness at the age of 78. Roy was born in Sheboygan, WI on August 19, 1947, to the late Roy G. Menzer and Clarice (Pantel) Menzer. He graduated from Sheboygan South High in 1967. Roy worked for various manufacturers in Sheboygan including Armira Corporation and Vinyl Plastics Inc. He officially retired in 2009.
Roy enjoyed spending time with his family (especially the holidays), he had a love/hate relationship with his cat Spike, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, stock car racing, summer campfires, and tinkering around fixing things. He lived on his own terms. He had a huge heart and would be there and help anyone.
Survivors include his children, Angela (Christopher) Radl, Tracy Ellersick (special friend Kevin), Kristie Menzer and Matthew Menzer; five grandchildren, Amber (Spencer) Carroll, Jacob Malwitz, Josh Ellersick, Zach Ellersick, and Kaylee Zahn; eight great grandchildren, Alex, Dexter, Jax, Millie, Trinity, Kenzleigh, Graysen, and Carter. He is also survived by his brother Gary Menzer, sisters Karen Menzer and Yvonne Brown, special aunt Janet Schneider and special cousin Kelly (Bob) Nelson and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, uncles (who he was very close with) Kenneth Pantel, Stanley Pantel and Lee Schneider.
A funeral service for Roy will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Rev. Lorri Steward officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt thank you to the staff at Morningside Nursing Facility for their kindness, care, and compassion as well as RN Anne Gilbert and the rest of the staff that cared for Roy with Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

We love you and will miss you. Until we see you again, “Catch ya later,” Dad.

So sorry for the loss of your dad. And to my dad and aunts, I’m sorry for the loss of your brother. My heart aches for everyone who loved my uncle. He will always be remembered- his smile, his laugh, lol - maybe a little swearing, the memories of us fishing together, and the sound of him playing his drums. He will.be missed and will live on in all of our hearts.
