Ruth M.. Anderson

We are so sorry for this loss. The "Rev" was pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Augusta when we moved here in 1967. He was a wonderful pastor. I was one of the first women to serve on the Church Council. Our family was so sorry he left. I knew he was at the installation for Bishop Rick Hoyme but I never could find him and have been sorry ever since. May flights of angels sing him to his heavenly rest. We will always think of him with the highest regard. Sincerely, Ruth M. Anderson..

Alan Fisher (St. John – Lithopolis Oh)

We loved PR Rudy and St John, Lithopolis Ohio. We lost our pastor suddenly and Pr Rudy came to help us through our grief, He was with us for slightly more than 1 year. He was a hoot. He portrayed himself to be a gruff old guy who loved his cigars. I remember my wife giving him a hug and he was so confused he didn't know what to do. Soon all the ladies were hugging him !!!! He wanted us to pay him hourly, but we'd have none of that. We 'd just lost our Pastor and could afford to pay him a recurring paycheck, which we insisted on doing. Again, he was beside himself - he didn't understand. We were what he was used to. I think we had an impact on him - he sure did on us.
