Ruth Ann Kelley, age 76 passed away on September 21, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, WI following a brief illness. She was born on March 19, 1947, in Chippewa Falls, WI to the late Clifford and Beatrice (Black) Kelley. Ruth attended schools in Colby WI. Ruth was a farmer and homemaker. She was later employed by Kmart, managed Geiger Trucking, Cheetah Transportation and Scotty Landscape Supply until her retirement in 2021.
Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events. She loved fishing, traveling, baking, playing bingo, card games and sipping a little wine along the way with her special friends Sandy and Bea. Ruth had a love for horses and dogs, especially Molly and Miley.
Ruth is survived by her children Debra (Scott) Schaefer of Sheboygan, Suzann (Frederick) Winkel of Sheboygan, Gerald (Dawn) Geiger of Sheboygan, Tina (Dave) Arttus of West Salem, WI. Eight grandchildren; Cody, Jenna, Marissa, Kaden, Samantha, Nicholas, Kiersten, and Dominic. Six great-grandchildren; Adalyn, Hayden, Nova, Jaxson, Emmett, and Henry. Ruth is furthered survived by one brother Kenneth Kelley, special friends Sandy and Bea, along with many other relatives, and friends. Ruth will be deeply missed.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Todd, brothers, Bruce, Robert, Dennis, sister, and brother-in-law Carol (Chuck) Tio and a sister-in-law Judith Kelley.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Ruth’s life with an inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Chapel of Eternal Light in Kohler WI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Aurora Medical Center St. Luke’s, Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County and Aurora Hospice Care.
