Ruth Ann Klessig, 93, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 at Harvest Home in Howards Grove, WI.
Ruth was born on January 21, 1932 in Sheboygan, WI to Celestine (Dick) Brandl and Vera Harff. She attended Holy Name School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School, class of 1950.
She married Clarence “Edward” Klessig on July 18, 1953 in Holy Name Catholic Church, Sheboygan, WI.
She was a secretary for the FBI while her husband was in the service, she later worked for the Ladies Luncheon League and Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Mental Health Center.
She loved playing cards, traveling, gourmet club, church activities and getting together with friends, especially long-time friends Germaine Tesovnik, Helen Maurer, and Adeline Bratz. She was an excellent cook with many family favorites; tacos being the most requested.
Ruth is survived by her children: Christine (Michael) Zengler of WI, Jeffery (Carol) Klessig of MD, Nancy Luethy of OH and Gary (Lynn) Klessig of TN; grandchildren: Chad Zengler of IN, Brian (Lori) Zengler of MN, Sarah (Matt) Ball of OH, Paul (Lauren) Luethy of MD, Kirsten (Justin) Gardner of VA, Kristen (Drew) Adam of PA and Bradley Klessig of MD; great-grandchildren: Thaden and Zander Zengler of MN, Conner and Lyla Ball of OH, Chloe Gardner of VA and Evelyn Adam of PA.
She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
A private family burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.

I am so sorry to learn of Ruth's passing. She was a remarkable lady and wonderful bridge player and will be missed. She and her family remain in our prayers. May she rest in eternal peace.
