Scott was a neighbor of mine and I appreciated his willingness to help me with my groceries. Friendly and very polite and also kind. God rest his soul and give Scott peace.

Scott had a genuine heart for friendship. He always was looking out for others and reached out to find ways to help even when what was needed went far beyond his own personal experiences or understanding. Though I didn't know him long I always thought Scott was happiest in cozy, familiar places with just a few loved ones sharing good food and conversation. Scott was not designed for conflict, he often tried to calm explosive passions. (Unless of course the conflict was occuring on a playing field. Those who shared his joy in sports saw a much more excitable, animated and outgoing companion then I saw in daily moments. ) He reveled in simple comforts and routines. When he spoke of memories with family and friends you really heard his gratitude for the times and places of a simpler way of life in his Sheboygan community. Although I was only part of his circle for a few years, I admired his deep commitment to a peaceful, friend-filled life. Once you were part of Scott's life he never stopped caring about you and always made you feel he would be there, if needed, with helping hands and his caring words. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life, but I will remember that his heart was strong in all the ways important to friendship.

I had the pleasure of meeting Skip through my brother-in-law! Many years ago he played racketball and stayed at the house for a tournament in the Rapids. Later we went on many Badger road trips be it Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, and Purdue! Skip was always one of the good ones, he will be missed!
