The world lost a beloved mother and grandmother on December 13, 2022. Sharon Lee Becker, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a brief illness.

Sharon was born October 5, 1942, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Mildred and Gottlieb Knatz. Growing up in an Army family, she had the opportunity to live in many parts of the U.S., Germany, and Panama. Sharon met the love of her life, Richard R. Becker, in 1962 and they were wed on March 2, 1963, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She was an exceptionally giving person who was always the first to offer help, not out of obligation but because of who she was. Her kind and loving personality filled her home with warmth and love. A home where she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids. Both quality time and gift-giving were her love languages and she willingly shared them with those she loved.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard: son, Randy (Kris) Becker; daughter, Sandi (Phil) Herman all of Sheboygan; four grandchildren: Alyssa (Joe) Priebe, Trevor (Jaime) Rahe, Sara (Josh) Bartlett, Rachel (Jake) Schuette. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Gottlieb and Mildred Knatz and in-laws Alfred and Viola Becker.

Sharon never wanted to be the center of attention therefore there will be a private funeral service for only her immediate family and close friends. Friends wishing to honor Sharon, are invited to make a donation in her name to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County because of the love she had for all the dogs in her life. Sharon’s joyful presence had an impact on many people, especially her grandkids. That joy will continue to live on through them.

In accordance with Sharon’s wishes a private service will be held.
