Shirley M. Markham

Shirley Markham, age 95, of Cleveland, Wisconsin, passed away May 13, 2026, at her home. She was born in Sheboygan on September 17,1930 to the late Gustav and Lena (Warring) Bubb.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. Shirley met her late Husband Clarence Markham and married October 26,1954 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Shirley had many different jobs in the Sheboygan area. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she was a choir member and a Daughter of St. Mark Lutheran as well. She loved to dance, sing, bake many kinds of breads, camping, crossword puzzles, and tell stories of her childhood.
Grandma Shirley was affectionately known as Grandma Monkey to her grandchildren and many more children that passed through her house.
Survivors include her three children, Kathy(John)Sundee, Paul Markham, both of Cleveland, WI, and Kevin Markham, of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Jeremiah(Jessica) Sundee, Joyce(Chris) VanDenBerg, Kristi Johnson, Lori Licari(Luis), Jaleel Markham(Jorden), Amanda(Kyle) Schwanke; twenty three great grandchildren, Dakota(Emily), Taylor(Dakota), Riley(Evelyn), Elijah, Isaiah, Rachel, Nathan, Sarah, Eliza, Lily, Joshua, Kaylee(Mark), Kamron, Karma, Laindyn, Lenny, LeeRoy, Arianna, Eli; a great great-grandchild, Jaxson. and her sister Gwendolyn Enghardt. May other relatives and friends further survive. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters and two grandsons, David Alan Markham and Keanu Cole Markham.
A funeral service for Shirley will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Pastor Tyler Werner officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the compassion care that was given to her.
