Steve C. Sobeski, age 59, of Kiel, died on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in Marinette, WI on September 4, 1965, to the late Robert and Gail Uecke Sobeski.
Steve attended schools in Marinette, Goodman, and Antigo, WI. On March 18, 1995, he was united in marriage to Jeanne Schumitsch in West Allis, WI. He was employed at Kaytee Wild Bird Food Company in Chilton, and Plymouth Walmart.
Steve was a member of the Volkswagen Club in Sheboygan. He enjoyed classic cars, older Volkswagen’s, camping, bonfires, and attending car shows in Iola and Jefferson.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Sobeski, of Kiel; sisters, Sheri Day, of Junction City, KS, Linda Delles, of IL; and his brother, Daniel Figeroa, of TX. Steve is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his younger brother, Jake Shuirmann.
A funeral service for Steve will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Dr. Nick, and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Sheboygan, and close family and friends for the compassion and care that was given to Steve.
