Steve “Steve-o” Halverson

Steve “Steve-o” Halverson, 50, of Cornelius, NC passed away on January 1, 2023. He was born to Ronald and Patricia Halverson on December 2, 1972 in Sheboygan. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1991. He furthered his education at UW-Oshkosh graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Steve was a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Siemens in North Carolina.
He was a great athlete and runner. His sense of humor could keep you laughing for hours. He continued to keep in touch with some great friends from high school. His daughter, Hollis, was the love of his life. She and Zayla, Steve’s dog, kept Steve very busy, but never too busy to visit Wisconsin. Steve will be missed dearly and the memories we have of him will be shared for years to come.
He is survived by the mother of his daughter, Misty Halverson; daughter, Hollis; parents, Ronald and Patricia Halverson; siblings, Christine (Rob) Boldt, Cheri (Troy) Gerstner and Heidi Halverson; nieces and nephew, Ben and Halle Boldt and Ella Gerstner; and his beloved dog Zayla. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adam and Cecilia Goebel and Walter and Molly Halverson; uncles, Robert Halverson and Ron Goebel and aunt, Claire (Dick) Peckham.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. A memorial fund will be set up for Steve’s daughter, Hollis. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
