Steven A. Weiss, 68, of Sheboygan, WI passed away peacefully at his home March 26, 2023.
He was born in Sheboygan, WI February 4, 1955, to Herb and Olga Weiss, and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1973.
Steve was very proud of his career in law enforcement. He was employed with the Sheboygan County Corrections Division from 1985-1990, an Officer with the Kohler Police Department from 1990-2009 and a part time Deputy Sheriff from 2011-present.
Steve was truly one of a kind. He had the ability to light up the room with one, or many, of his “Weiss-isms”. He enjoyed his time up north at his cabin hunting, UTVing and gathering with friends. He was also a diehard Wisconsin sports fan.
Steve is survived by his brother Herb (Judy) Weiss, step children Rod (Romy) Brehm and Amy (Darrin) Hartshorn, step son-in-law Johnny Wolfe, step grandchildren Nathan Brehm, Caleb Brehm, Evan Brehm, Lindsey (fiancé Ben) Hartshorn, Curtis (Taylor) Hartshorn, Shayne Wyatt, J.C. (Patience) Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe and Caitlin (Aaron) Shelton, soul mate Shannon Beers, and countless others that knew and loved him.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife Lynnette Weiss, parents Herb and Olga Weiss and stepdaughter Kelly Wolfe.
A celebration of life will be held on May 6, 2023, from 12:00pm – 5:00pm at Al and Al’s, 1502 S. 12th St. in Sheboygan, WI. A memorial fund will be established in Steve’s name. Proceeds will be donated to cancer research.
