We’re sad to share that Stuart H. Willard, age 70, of Sheboygan Falls peacefully took his last breath with his family (his fan club) by his side on Monday October 16, 2023. Stu was born January 15, 1953 in Plymouth to the late Henry and Beryl (Hughes) Willard. Stu was united in marriage to Judy Felten and shared 30 wonderful years together. Stu was employed at Kohler Company in Quality for 35 years prior to retiring from Skana as a consultant.

He loved being around his family and his cats at home. His quick witts and sarcasm were unmatched and one of our favorite traits about him. He would always put a smile on everyone’s face. He lived a deeply authentic life, always on his own terms. His rebellious spirit was matched by an equally enormous heart. He always went out of his way to help people and made a lasting and deep impact on those around him. His endless curiosity and fascination with the world around him led to numerous different hobbies. He loved capturing the beauty of nature and birds through his photography together with his wife Judy. Woodworking was also a great love of his and each piece he crafted was a testament to his skill and creativity. His fascination with history and love for family led him down the path of charting his genealogy back hundreds of generations. He always wanted to learn new things. If he didn’t have power tools in his hands, he would be reading a book. He read thousands throughout the years and shared so many stories and facts with us.

Stu is survived by his loving wife Judy, children Desi Rubio of Florida, Jennie (Steve) Schlichting of Denmark, WI, Amanda (Sean) Kuester of Sheboygan, Michael (Lynn) Gottschalk of Sheboygan, and grandchildren Mikayla, Autumn, Damian, Darian, Airiana, Anastasia, Sean, Shilo and Airabella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Sam and Marylou Felten, niece Kimberly Ciotola, and sister-in-law Nancy Agopian.

Family and friends may gather at Oakbrook Community Church, 1624 Broadway Ave. Sheboygan on Saturday October 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jim Hess and Pastor Mario Ciotola will officiate this celebration of Stu’s life.

Stu was a true legend, a rebel with a heart of gold.
We will always carry his memory with us in our lives.

What an incredible human God made. Stu was a dear friend to my mother and I. We speak of and think of him so often. I know he has touched so many lives, other than ours, with his quick wit, sarcasm, intellect, kindness, and the love he had for his family. Stu Willard will be missed by the Arkansans who he let know him.
