Susan Mary Hansen, 59, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by family and friends. Susan was born to the late Gordon and Betty (Strasser) Hansen on December 28, 1964 in Sheboygan. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in the class of 1983. Susan worked for many years cleaning schools in the Sheboygan area and for Kohler Arts the last eight years as the head custodian. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cross-stitching, baking and loved her pet dogs and cats. Susan loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Susan is survived by her fiancé, Paul Fox; children, Teresa (Erik) Trepanier, Jennifer (Chad) Starkey and Sarah Hansen (significant other Matt Boehme); eleven grandchildren; brother, Chris Hansen and another brother and one sister; Chad Fox of Green Bay and Dustin Fox of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m.
Memorial donations will be used to plant a tree at Kohler-Andrae State Park in Susan’s memory.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
