Teresa C. Backman, age 74 of Sheboygan passed away Sunday December 11, 2022. Teresa was born August 26, 1948, in Texas to the late Vincent and Jackie (McKee) Garner. Teresa was a graduated of Neah-Kah-Nie High School in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. Teresa was united in marriage to James Backman on December 6, 1966, in Oklahoma. She then remarried James on July 23, 1982, in Kentucky. James preceded her in death on December 17, 2017. Teresa enjoyed being an assistant Girl Scout leader and a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. Teresa loved playing Bingo, doing cross word puzzles, and crocheting.
Teresa is survived by her children James E. Backman II, Steven R. (Georgette) Backman, D. Skye Backman, Katrina (Daniel) Baumann, Sara (Jacob) Baumann, Jennifer Stoelb with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also surviving. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and husband James.
Cremation has taken place with her cremated remains being entombed at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
