Theodore E. Brunette, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on December 11, 1932 to the late Francis and Ella Brunette in Sheboygan. He graduated from St. Peter Claver Elementary School and Central High School. Ted served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1952 to 1955. On June 30, 1956 Ted was united in marriage to RaeAnn Hanson at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Together they raised six children. Ted worked at Plastics Engineering in the Molding Department and as Inspector in the Finishing Room where he retired after 32 years. Ted and his wife then opened and operated Teddy and Ann’s Tavern. Ted also often helped with fish lunches at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Ted is survived by his six children, Michael (Rhonda) Brunette, of Stokesdale, NC, Debra Haupt of Denmark, WI, Theodore (Susan) Brunette Jr., of Sheboygan, David (Shelley) Brunette, of Concord, CA, Thomas (Christy) Brunette and Timothy (Angela) Brunette, both of Sheboygan; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Haupt-Fretwell, Christopher Brunette, Jodi Haupt (significant other Andrew), Amanda (George) Paschal, Amber (Tim) Arnold, Bradley Brunette, Cassandra (Brett) Morth, Travis Brunette (significant other Katlyn Stewart), Brittany (Clayton) Brunette-Thimmesch, Trevor Brunette, Ashley (Robert) Spelshaus; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Annie; parents; sisters, Frances (Norman) Hoberg, Violet (James) Goode, Veronica (Larry) Porzadny; brothers, Edward (Patricia), Marcel (Jeannine); niece, Susan (Ron) Rolloff; son-in-law, Michael Haupt; stepfather, Alvin Glasser.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ted’s name. Condolences may be expressed online at www.reinboldfh.com.
