To the Family of Tom, I sadly learned of Tom's passing just yesterday. Fifty-six years ago, when we became friends and comrades in arms and shipped to Vietnam. We both served as squad leaders in Echo Company 3/60/9 and experienced the many ups and downs of war. I had only one occasion to speak to him years ago but, my memories of him have never faded. I wish you all peace and say farewell to my brother.
