Timothy “Tim” P. Schroeder, age 72 of Kohler, died on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan after a courageous 4-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Clintonville, WI, on August 3rd, 1951, the son of the late Donald and Marian (Schroeder) Becker.
Tim attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1969. He then furthered his education at UW Stevens Point, Madison, and Marquette Dental School graduating with a degree in Dentistry. On August 19th, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart Debbie.
Tim started his own Dental practice in 1976 in Oshkosh, WI, and practiced for 25 years until his retirement.
Tim was an energetic, hardworking guy who was successful at most everything he tried to achieve. In 1969 Tim was the first Sheboygan North wrestler to place in W.I.A.A. state wrestling. Tim also qualified in his weight class to represent the United States in the Junior World Championship Wrestling Tournament in Boulder, Colorado. Always an avid outdoorsman he generally enjoyed everything from fishing, hunting, snow skiing, baseball, golf, and more. His later years he looked forward to fishing trips with his son, poker at Oneida, watching all of his Wisconsin sports teams, and golfing with his QuitQuiOc and Riverdale golf buddies.
Spending time with family was his priority, and watching anything his grandchildren participated in. Tim was very proud of his children and grandchildren, and they will always be the brightest light in his life.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah, of Kohler; two children, Michael (Amy) Schroeder, of Menasha, and Kelly (Jon) Cole, of Kohler; four grandchildren, Hailey, Maddie, Kyle, and Henry; a sister, Cheryl Winter, of Sheboygan Falls; two brothers, Tom (Pricilla) Schroeder, of Louisville, KY, and Steve (Julie) Schroeder, of Sausalito, CA; his mother-in-law, Shirley Hoell, of Sheboygan; and a sister-in-law, Marcia (Bob) Schroeder, of Cedarburg. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, a father-in-law, William Hoell, a stepfather, Upton Becker, and a brother-in-law, Dale Winter.
In accordance with Tim’s wishes his family will be celebrating him privately and cremation will take place.
Tim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Froedert Cancer Center, Dr. George, Emily and staff, Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan for doing everything they could during his last days. They also wish to express thanks to Officer Todd, Kohler Fire Department, and Paramedics. We appreciate all of you.
It was Tim’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donation of your choice such as, Make a Wish, St. Judes, or your local food pantry.
Tim died on August 16th. Tim and Debbie both got their first “Hole in One” on August 16th, different years. They have always called it “Hole in One Day” and it will always be called that.
We will miss you and love you always.

I first met Tim at college in Madison in 1971. We were on the same dorm floor. Had some great times together. I remember going to his wedding at the "Top of the First" in Sheboygan. We kind of lost track of each other after he moved to Oshkosh. Then he moved back home and we started to play quite a bit of golf together. I know he went through some rough times the last few years and he fought the battle courageosly. I shall miss him. Condolences to Debbie and the entire family. RIP Tim.

Dear Debbie and family. I was sad to see Tim’s passing. Debbie, as you probably remember, Tim and I were wrestling companions at North High. He was probable the best wrestler North ever had. He was on a mission to get to State, His hard work and perseverance accomplished his goal. May Tim rest in peace, and peace and blessings to you. Mark
