Violet E. Hilpertshauser, age 99, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, April 19 at Sunnyridge Nursing Home. She was born July 29,1921 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Alfred and Augusta (Wesener) Zeinemann. She attended Central High School. On February 18, 1956 she married Allen B. Hilpertshauser.
She worked at the Lakeland Mfg Co for 15 years and after that was a stay at home mom. Violet was a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Alter Guild. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed attending the grandchildren’s activities. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, baking and sewing.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years Allen; daughter Kim (Dennis) Ploetz of Sheboygan; son-in-law Dean Novak of Milwaukee; grandchildren Emily (Matt) Brendel, Wyatt (Melissa) Ploetz and step- grandson Paul (Jackie) Novak. She is further survived by two sister-in- laws, Joyce Zeinemann and Carol Hilpertshauser; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Novak, and eight siblings.
A funeral service for Violet will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. Alan D. Kubow officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery.
