Violet (Wachter) Nesst, 90, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on July 26, 2025. She was born July 17th, 1935 in Plymouth, WI to parents Claude and Jessie (Simmelink) Wachter of Waldo, WI. She attended the Dye Road School in Waldo, WI. Violet graduated from Waldo High School in 1953.

Violet went on a blind date in 1957 with Patrick Nesst. He later proposed at the Marine Corps Ball. They married March 1st, 1958. They were happily married for 54 years. They raised their family in Sheboygan. She worked at Kohler Company, Curt G. Joa, and Ellingers. In 1987, Violet and Patrick moved to Boynton Beach, FL.

Violet is survived by her sons Todd Nesst of Boynton Beach, FL and Tim (Carol) Nesst of Sheboygan Falls, and daughter Kelly (Karl) Buteyn of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren Kelly Jo (Fiance Cody) Nesst of Algoma, Stephanie (Ryan) Arndt and Jessica (Ron) Spencer of Sheboygan Falls, Karly and Kurt Buteyn and Kalyn (Chris) Beck of Boynton Beach, FL; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Patrick Nesst, parents, her brother Russell Wachter, and grandson Matthew Dietsche.

Violet grew up in Waldo, WI on her father’s farm which is where some of her fondest memories are. One of Violet’s favorite accomplishments was learning how to drive a tractor at the age of 10. She also was very proud of winning a blue ribbon at the fair for her Holstein calf as a child. Violet enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whether that was playing board games or just enjoying a meal together. Violet loved spending time with her children and was very proud of their accomplishments and the great people they turned out to be. Violet was a mother, wife, and much more, but Violet’s favorite role in life was being a nana. Nothing made Violet happier than spending time with her grandchildren. Her greatest joys were the laughs and memories she created with her family.

Violet will be remembered for her honesty, toughness, and love of her family. Her candor and humor were gifts to everyone that knew her.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22 at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. If you are unable to attend, enjoy a Margarita, Whiskey Manhattan, or a pink lemonade in her memory.

Boynton Memorial Chapel in Florida and Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home are assisting the family.

“May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand”
