Virginia E. Ott

Virginia E. Ott, age 94, of Sheboygan, died on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born July 25, 1928, in rural Sheboygan County, the daughter of the late William and Alma Krieglstein Feld.
Virginia went to local schools and attended Sheboygan North High School. On August 19, 1950, she was united in marriage to Elmer Ott at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
She was employed at the Garton Toy Factory, Thimmigs Restaurant, and retired from H.C. Prange Department Store as a salesclerk. Virginia was a current member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. She volunteered for the Blood Drive and was a poll worker for the local elections. Virginia was an excellent cook and baker, she also enjoyed gardening, crafting, and her card club.
Survivors include her two children, Dennis (Diane) Ott, of Grafton, and Judy Ott-Belland (partner Tim), of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Steven Ott (fiancé Tiffany), Karen Ott (fiancé Henry), Jennifer (James) Schowalter, Allison (Joseph) Bergmann, Angela Belland (partner Mike), Michael (Linsey) Ott; and fifteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Mustas, of Sheboygan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William Feld, and her two sisters, Doris “Dolly” Margenau, and Lorraine Schroeder.
In accordance with the family’s wishes a private funeral service will be held.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice staff for the compassion and care that was given to Virginia in the last hours of her life.
